I live in West Oxfordshire, on the edge of the Cotswolds, with my wife Mandy. Our son and daughter long since 'flew the nest' and I retired from a career in flying and aviation 5 years ago. My last job but one was in the UAE, and on returning to live in this country we bought my wife a GLC (excellent car) and an SL55 F1 (fantastic car) for me. We still have both. That year, we met up with the MBC at the Classic Car Show and signed up, subsequently joining in with various club activities which led me to spending 3 years as one of a small team of ROs for Midlands West. With Oxfordshire now having its own region, no RO but a wonderful group of friends at our pub meet, it's time for me to get involved once again. Though I'll be the only RO (for the time being) I'm very pleased to have Mac Warner as our PMO and Mic Bennett as our locally-based model registar captain for R230s.
